Based off the ancient temples in the Shanxi Province of China, dating from the Ming and Qing dynasties, "The Temple of Lost Souls" was modeled and designed to capture the rich cultural elements, highlighting the geometric shapes and curves of the architecture. The goal was to create a sacred environment that not only exemplified the opulent architectures of ancient China.
Modeled and designed in 3DS Max, Textured in Substance Painter, Rendered in Unreal Engine 5 utilizing Quixel Megascans.
A dining hall, a ballroom or maybe the waiting room to the gates of Heaven, this room was based off the stunning architectural designs of the 17th Century Baroque period, with accents and elements of artworks done by Caravaggio with the infamous painting "the taking of Christ". and the story of Samson and Delilah.
Built, Lighting and rendering done in Unreal Engine 5.
Booth Tarkington's novel "Monsieur Beaucaire," which was set in Bath, the 18th century British watering place and gambling spa. The focal point of Bath was the Pump Room, where people could take advantage of the supposed health-giving effects of the area's waters and which was the first fashionable spot where the aristocracy and actors socialized together.
